Timmy played with many talented musicians in his life and he had a gig seemingly every weekend. Even if he was officially part of a band he'd sit in with another one for a random Wednesday night show. Through music he was able to make a lot of friends and and they gave him the opportunity to perfect his craft. But he also gave them a friend as well and a missing piece (drums, guitar or voice) to their puzzle that night. But on top of being an excellent he was a great person as well who impacted a lot of people in so many ways. When they heard of Timmy's passing they organized a Memorial Concert which took place about a month after his death on May 21, 2011. It took place at Linneman's in Riverwest and the turnout was outstanding. A cover charge was collected and Jim Linneman graciously donated that money to the Reck Family to help cover funeral costs. So I'd like to thank him for allowing us to hold the concert there. While it was a definitely a sad time as we were all still reeling from the loss of Timmy, it was also a fitting tribute and celebration of his life. For information on the bands that played at this concert and to see videos of the songs that they performed, please click on the respective band pictures. We will always miss Timmy, but as long as we continue to join together to celebrate his life, it will be like he is still here with us in every story, smile, laugh and especially every song.
